Delete Your Merit Account

Inside the iOS app

• Open Merit.
• Go to the Me tab.
• Open Account settings.
• Choose Delete account and confirm.

This deletes your Merit account record and associated synced account data that Merit is not legally required to keep. Local data on your device can also be removed by deleting the app.

By email

If you cannot access the app, email oat@monk.com with the subject “Delete my Merit account.” Use the email address associated with your Sign in with Apple account or Apple private relay address when possible.

Manual deletion requests are handled as soon as practical. We may ask for enough information to verify that the request belongs to the account owner.

What is deleted

• Your Merit account profile.
• Your synced lesson completion progress.
• Related account records stored for app functionality.

Private reflections are local-only in the current iOS release unless a future version explicitly asks you to sync them.
